Advantages of Premium PC/ABS polymer 

Premium pc abs polymer  is an alloy material of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS). Its core advantage lies in combining the strengths of both materials while offsetting their respective drawbacks, making it suitable for diverse scenarios in industrial manufacturing.

It features balanced mechanical properties, integrating PC’s high impact strength (excellent low-temperature impact resistance and resistance to embrittlement) and good rigidity, as well as ABS’s superior toughness and fatigue resistance. Thus, it is ideal for manufacturing structural stress-bearing components.

It also boasts outstanding processability: with lower melt viscosity than pure PC, it enables smoother injection molding, shorter molding cycles, and fewer product defects such as material shortage and shrinkage marks. Moreover, it has lower equipment requirements and costs than pure PC, achieving a fine balance between performance and economy.

Its heat resistance (heat deflection temperature: 80–125℃) and dimensional stability are better than ordinary ABS, adapting to medium-to-high temperature operating environments. It has good resistance to weak acids, weak alkalis and most non-polar solvents. After adding UV stabilizers, its weather resistance is significantly enhanced, suitable for outdoor applications.

With a smooth surface, it can be made into products with various textures, and supports secondary processing like painting and electroplating, meeting the appearance requirements of consumer electronics, home appliances and other products.
