POM is a linear polymer with no side chain, high density and high crystallinity. According to thechemical structure of its molecular chain, it can be divided into homoformaldehyde and co-formaldehyde. Homoformaldehyde has high density, crystallinity and melting point, but poor thermalstability, narrow processing temperature range (about 10 'c), and slightly low stability to acid andalkali; The density, crystallinity, melting point and strength of co-formaldehyde are low, but the thermalstability is good, it is not easy to decompose, the processing temperature range is wide (about 50 °c)and the stability to acid and alkali is good. lt is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive proferties.
